The first EUWINA Masterclass in China was an incredible success, held in Beijing with nearly 70 attendees filling the room to capacity. The lecturer for the evening was the experience wine educator , Mr. Frankie Zhao.

The European Wine Ambassadors Asia Seminar Program closed an intense week full of seminars with their closing event in Taipei.

The European Wine Ambassadors Asia Seminar Program in Seoul was held on July 5th at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Seoul. The program started with a presentation about the European Wine Ambassadors campaign followed by 3 seminars. A selected group of 56 wine professionals attended the seminars.

The Campaign in 2023 started in Seoul with three Masterclasses hosted by the Master of Wine, Ms. Annette Scarfe.

The European Wine Ambassadors (EUWINA) campaign, which promotes some of Europe's finest wines, is back in Asia after successful series of events last year. The campaign, funded by the European and launched in October 2022, is led by three organizations representing Spain, Italy, and Greece: the Interprofessional Wine Council D.O. La Mancha, Unione Consorzi Vini Veneti – U.VI.VE., and the National Interprofessional Organization of Vine and Wine of Greece, and targets the markets of China, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The European Wine Ambassador campaign has organized education programs and masterclasses for importers, distributors, and Ho.Re.Ca., sommeliers and press to educate and inform them about the quality-producing methodologies of the European Union along with the EU quality certifications regarding PDOs and PGIs.
